I'm Gen X — raised on grit, shaped by hard miles, and still standing. I've been a hotshot firefighter, a trucker, a shepherd, a yacht builder, a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago. I've built things with my hands and lost things I couldn't hold onto. I've been broken and I've rebuilt. More than once.
